IAB Ad Hoc Committee on Transport Multi-Protocol Label Switching (T-MPLS)

Background

The IAB has decided to appoint the following ad-hoc committee to address issues in preparation for potential co-operation between the IETF and ITU-T on protocols for T-MPLS. This group was formed in November 2007.

The committee will further discuss its charter and co-ordinate with the IAB as necessary.

• Identifying an action list for the IETF
• Identifying incompatibles and inconsistencies between IETF and ITU-T documents
• IETF decisions to be revisited
• Organisation to take care of ITU-T mpls/pwe3 requirements
