      New research group proposed on authorization, longer term work from IETF AAA working group.

      Press release prompted lots of enquiries.

      IETF secretariat will take on secretariat duties for IRTF as well: maintenance of Web site, scheduling of meeting rooms at regular meetings.

    5. IESG liaison report

    6. NOMCOM liaison report

      Lots of discussion on how to reflect increasing importance of IP telephony in the IETF.

    7. Simpson appeal status

      Written response almost done.

    8. Raven statement

      Draft statement reviewed. Authors should be IAB and IESG.
