This note details the arrangements relating to the IAB nomination of members of the ICANN Technical Liaison Group.

The IAB, together with the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), the International Telecommunications Union’s Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T), and the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), are members of the ICANN Technical Liaison Group (TLG). Each TLG organization designates two individual technical experts who are familiar with the technical standards issues that are relevant to ICANN’s activities. These 8 experts shall be available as necessary to determine, through an exchange of e-mail messages, where to direct a technical question from ICANN when ICANN does not ask a specific TLG organization directly.

The role of this group is described in Article X1, Section 2 of the ICANN By Laws
