Carlos Bernardos Appointed as IETF Liaison Manager to ISO/TC204

The IAB acts as representative of the interests of the IETF and the Internet Society in technical liaison relationships with other organizations concerned with standards and other technical and organizational issues relevant to the world-wide Internet.

The IAB is pleased to announce the appointment of Carlos Bernardos as the liaison manager to ISO/TC204. ISO/TC204 is responsible for the overall system aspects and infrastructure aspects of intelligent transport systems (ITS), as well as the coordination of the overall ISO work programme in this field including the schedule for standards development, taking into account the work of existing international standardization bodies.

Alexandre Petrescu previously served as the IETF's liaison to ISO/TC204 for many years and recently stepped down from the position. The IAB thanks Alexandre for his service!
